Only Connect! supports the digital inclusion and social equity of the disabled. This project would not have been possible without the principals, teachers and parents who generously shared their professional resources, and deeply personal experiences with me, on various aspects of disabled education in Indore. It is also the product of the many voices in Indore who endeavour to work for a better world: with less judgement and more support. I thank Mr. Sahil of Ayaan Enterprises for timely transportation for fieldwork even in adverse weather and climactic conditions. This project is by Swechha supported by the American Centre and US Embassy India.

About me
I am an Assistant Professor of English at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Indore. I teach courses on English Literature and Entrepreneurship to undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral students. I lead the Performance Studies Research Group, with three students working under my doctoral supervision.
Disability Studies is an important focus area of my research. I hope to contribute to this field, through intricate theoretical and textual work; as well as through interventions in the social world. I believe that the non-disabled have much to learn from the disabled.
My name is Ananya Ghoshal. I have been taught and trained in English Literature. My primary degree is a B.A. (hons.) in English Literature from Lady Brabourne College, the University of Calcutta. I hold an M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in English Literature from the English and Foreign Language University in Hyderabad. I am also a Fulbright alumni, and was awarded a doctoral fellowship to pursue my studies in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
